This notice explains how Fatti 365 (Pty) Ltd handles personal information through this website and in its ordinary business relationships.

Who this notice applies to

Fatti 365 (Pty) Ltd ("Fatti", "we", "us") provides behavioural location analytics, Wi-Fi and related services. This notice applies when you visit fatti.co.za, contact us, enquire about our services, or interact with us as a client, supplier or business contact.

Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and correspondence information, such as your name, company, role, email address, telephone number and the content of your enquiry.
  • Business relationship information, including proposals, contracts, service records, billing details and communications with clients and suppliers.
  • Website technical information, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages, dates, times and security logs generated when the site is served.
  • Information you choose to provide when you contact us by email, telephone, WhatsApp or another linked service.

This website does not currently use advertising cookies or embedded advertising trackers. It loads web fonts supplied by Google, which may receive technical request information such as your IP address. If we materially change the technologies used on the site, we will update this notice and, where required, request consent.

Where information is required to respond to you or perform a contract, choosing not to provide it may mean that we cannot assist you or provide the relevant service.

Who we share information with

We may share relevant information, subject to appropriate safeguards, with:

  • hosting, IT, communications, professional advisory and other service providers that support our operations;
  • our clients, suppliers and commercial partners where necessary for the relevant relationship or where you direct us to do so;
  • regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where required by law or necessary to protect rights; and
  • a successor or prospective successor in a lawful business reorganisation, sale or merger.

Some service providers may process information outside South Africa. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure that the recipient is subject to a law, agreement or binding rules that provide an adequate level of protection as required by applicable law.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to comply with legal or contractual requirements, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. The period depends on the type of record, the relationship and applicable legal requirements. We then delete, de-identify or securely destroy it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or destruction. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

  • confirm whether we hold personal information about you and request access to it;
  • correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete information that we are no longer authorised to retain;
  • object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; and
  • stop sending you direct marketing.

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Some rights are subject to lawful limitations, including record-retention duties and the rights of others.

You may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator through its eServices portal or contact it at POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za.

We may update this notice when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Material changes will be highlighted through an appropriate channel.
